Signify (Philips) LED-lighting for agriculture

LED lighting offers a large number of advantages for the greenhouse industry, including increased yields, early flowering, rapid rooting/germination, better control over plant growth and more economical use of space.

LED lighting is also highly energy efficient, allowing greenhouses to reduce energy consumption, especially during peak periods in autumn and winter.

Hundreds of projects have been implemented, Signify (former Philips Lighting) has many years of experience in studying the effect of LEDs on a variety of plants. In each project we are looking for the optimal recipe for cultivation. The Signify (former Philips) lighting recipe is an instruction based on knowledge about the use of light when growing a certain type of plant under certain conditions.
