Parsec access control and management system
A professional access control and management system can be used as an access control system in a small enterprise or as a security system serving a large international company with facilities in different countries.
Network Access Controllers
Access controllers are the central part of the system that controls all the equipment of the access point: readers, turnstiles, barriers, locks, etc.
To select an access controller that meets the requirements of the equipped object or access point, a number of key parameters should be taken into account:
- The type of passageway point where the equipment will be installed.
- Access schedule (who and when will have access to the room).
- Connection interface (which communication lines are used between the controllers and the PC).
- The number of IDs (how many users will be given the opportunity to pass).
- Housing type (affects the direct installation location of the controller).
- Functionality – defines certain features and capabilities of the controller.
Network Card-readers
A variety of supported card types, a rich choice of design and colors, unique reader designs — all these qualities allow you to find a solution for almost any object and provide excellent technical and user characteristics guaranteed by a well-known trademark.
- The PNR-Psx series work with the identifiers of the standards: ISO-14443A (Mifare ID, Mifare Classic 1K/4K, Mifare Plus 2K/4K), ISO-15693, ISO-14443B, with smartphones with NFC function emulating the operation of the Mifare card.
- PNR-EHxx series readers simultaneously support Em Marin and HID Prox format cards at 125 kHz.
- PNR-Xxx series readers work with contactless identifiers ISO 14443A, ISO-15693, ISO14443-B, NFC or mobile phones with NFC function at a frequency of 13.56 MHz, as well as identifiers EM Marin and HID Prox at a frequency of 125 kHz.
- The PR-G07.N reader provides work with active identifiers operating at a frequency of 2.45 Ghz, ActiveTag.2 and ActiveTag.I2.
Software
The PNSoft software module of the ParsecNET 3 system is a new generation of software for security systems and access control systems. The product, created using the latest technologies and development tools, provides new features designed to facilitate and simplify the management of the system by direct users, security specialists or administrators, as well as make the adaptation and configuration process for installers more transparent and convenient.
If we compare it with previous versions of the ParsecNET software or the current solutions of competitors, we can highlight a number of significant advantages:
- Unsurpassed level of scalability. The software is able to serve both the simplest systems in a single-machine configuration with a pair of doors and several dozen users, and distributed systems with hundreds of computers, thousands of access points and hundreds of thousands of personnel.
- Increased reliability and fault tolerance achieved through the use of distributed databases, highly reliable transport mechanisms for guaranteed data delivery, the possibility of using hot redundancy when using server clusters, as well as many other architectural solutions.
- A multi-user system with mechanisms for blocking simultaneous data changes on workstations.
- Support for virtual subsystems for complex distributed objects that have a common hardware part that is logically shared between user groups.
- Automatic equipment search mechanisms that simplify the commissioning of the system at the installation and configuration stage.
- Modularity, which allows you to compose the necessary workplaces in relation to the class of tasks to be solved.
- Powerful built-in automation mechanisms that allow you to configure the system to solve a variety of non-standard tasks without reprogramming the system.
- There are many integration services and mechanisms that facilitate the docking of the system with third-party hardware and software.
